fenty beauty by riHANNA LAUNCHED at the start of the month and is stocked at sephora and Harvey Nichols. the buzz in the beauty community surrounding rihanna and fenty beauty has been unbelievable!! we've heard so many good things about the line but we have also heard a few negative things, particularly about the match stix range but we wanted to decide on the new line ourselves. so we decide to purchase a number of The Killawatt Highlighters, which retail at £26 each and available now in six shades at Harvey nichols, along with the rest of the cruelty-free Fenty Beauty by Rihanna line, and you can probably already tell that they’re stunning. They’re shiny, glittery and reflect light to the max, so if you want highlights so bold that you could send an SOS across the universe, you’ll probably be into them. it seems that they're particularly similar to the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfectors, except the fenty beauty highlighters are a lot more pigmented and OTT. unfortunately, it did make our pores appear slightly larger but we can totally see why so many makeup lovers are losing their minds over them. the pigmentation and cream to powder feel definitely isn't playing around. we most definitely recommend them although you may need to break the bank for them as this is a high end brand and they're not playing with the price point but overall, we love the killawatt highlight and they're absolutely beauty blog approved To purchase the killawatt highlighters from Harvey Nichols, click the picture above:

Hi, my name is Amber. The product I'll be reviewing in my collaboration with the beauty blog is the Juvia's Place mini masquerade palette. I bought this palette from Beauty Bay for £30, which is really cheap for the quality and the size of the palette. There's 10 shimmer shades and 6 matte shades. They are so pigmented it's crazy, a little goes a long way. Also, considering they are bold and bright pinks and blues, they are not hard to blend. You can create so many different looks with this, it's great for both autumn and summer, with a great range of orange tones and crazy colours. I have inserted some pictures below of the finished look i have created using the palette. Thank you for reading my review. My Instagram is @ambermoonbeauty and I will be doing videos soon. www.beautybay.com/cosmetics/juviasplace/minimasqueradepalette/ Hi, my name is la-che and The following video is a review on The Urban Decay Smoky palette. the palette is amazing for a casual look or date night. It was very diverse and not every colour was dark, I like how you could take a lighter shade and still make it pop. It was very good to my skin. I love how it had colours that could blend well with each other. I would definitely recommend this palette especially for the fall season. This is my very first review video, I'm starting from the bottom so I was not able to do my original tutorial So this is just a brief video showing how lovely the Urban Decay Naked Smoky eye shadow pallet, I love how the colors just pop and how good they blend in with my skin tone. I'm not a professional, I'm learning with you all. Thanks for watching and i look forward to creating more collaborative posts with the beauty blog!!!! www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_123932046199_-1 the nyx jumbo eye pencil is something we have wanted to test out and review for you since we started this blog and so we went out and bought several shades in the eye pencils. we bought the shades 'milk', 'black bean' and 'French fries', these shades are a white, a black and a brown shade. when testing the pencils out on our eyelids, the consistency was really creamy and soft on the lid, not pulling on the lid at all. the pigmentation of the 3 shades we purchased were brilliant and all highly pigmented. when we blended the shades out on our lids, we were able to use them as a base to make shadows layered on top more pigmented and brighter, particularly with the shade 'milk' and we think this would be a great shade to use as an eyeshadow base or primer. we would love to try out all of the other shades as we loved the 3 were bought. the price point is also great as they only cost £5.50 from boots uk online. the product lasts well on the lid, we were particularly surprised about on oily skin types. overall we loved the products and the nyx jumbo eye pencils are definitely a hit with us and are beauty blog approved
as you may all know, Anastasia Beverley hills is known mainly for their brilliant brow products, such as the brow wiz and the dip brow pomade, so we thought we'd test out the dip brow and test out the brow wiz in a separate review a little later on. so onto the dip brow review. the abh dip brow has been making its rounds in the makeup community for a while now and boasts a smudge free, creamy formula which glides effortlessly onto the skin and adheres to the brow hairs for optimal definition. but we wanted to make sure that what they say is true. so we purchased the pomade from beauty bay for £15 which isn't too bad of a price point considering Anastasia Beverley hills is a high end brand. when applying the product to our brows with an angled brow brush, we fell in love straight away with how creamy and easy to apply the product was. the pigmentation was brilliant, ensuring the brows weren't patchy or looked sparse and it added great definition to the brows. this product is definitely to be used by those who go for a more defined or bolder brow rather than a natural brow. throughout the day, the product didn't budge, even on oily skin and stayed as pigmented as when first applied. so overall, the Anastasia Beverley hills dip brow pomade is most definitely beauty blog approved
hi, just a quick update on our absence yesterday and today, we are currently doing some work on our website but shall be back tomorrow with 2 reviews and another update on the work being done. we miss you all and shall be back soon.
with love from us all at the beauty blog so this is now our second review of an Anastasia Beverley hills brow product and this time were testing out the brow wiz. so we purchased the abh brow wiz from beauty from £15.50 which is a similar price to their dip brow so again, the price point isn't bad at all considering its from a high end brand. the product description says that "the brow wiz is an ultra fine pencil designed to shape, fill and 'plump out' sparse or unshapely brows. It avoids the 'coloured in' look using a skinny, mechanical nib that can mimic even the finest hairs, coupled with a brush for convenient blending. You can fake fuller brows in an instant thanks to a spectrum of natural shades - and you won't be caught short sans sharpener - just twist. Nobody need ever know that your elegant, face framing arches were quickly drawn on in the back of the taxi!" when applying the product to our products, we applied in soft hair-like strokes as to mimic the effect of having actual brow hairs in sparse areas. the great thing about this product is that you can use it to either create natural, fuller looking brows or to create bolder more defined brows with harder strokes. the pigmentation is great and the product allows you to have full control of how much is applied and how pigmented the application is. the spooley on the other end of the product is great for blending the product out to make the brows look more natural. overall, we think this product is brilliant and we think we might even love more than we loved the dip brow from Anastasia Beverley hills!! the Anastasia Beverley hills brow wiz is most definitely beauty blog approved To purchase the Anastasia Beverley hills brow wiz, click the link below:
www.beautybay.com/cosmetics/anastasiabeverlyhills/browwiz/ Hi, so this is my first collaborative blog post and I look forward to collaborating with the beauty blog again in the future. My name is mel and i enjoy experimenting with makeup, i am new to the blogging community but look forward to doing more blog posts like this in the future. so today i wanted to review ONE OF MY FAVOURITE AND GO TO PRODUCTS. I'VE really BEEN lovING the hoola bronzer, I got it about a year ago and it's still got plenty left in it. The bronzer its self iS a powder BRONZER but when it is applied to the skin it looks NATURAL as if it is a cream BRONZER BECAUSE it is so light and blends easILY INTO THE SKIN. I have used this product with a number of different brands and shades of foundation and the hoola bronzer always seems to match the shade I am wearing even though the bronzer is the same shade. The bronzer is £24.50 which can be seen as a lot for such a small product but it is worth the money for how long it lasts and comes with a high price tag due to it being from benefit, a high end makeup brand. the only issue I have with this product is the size of it and the brush that it comes with it. for example, it is hard to find a brush small enough but can still be used to bronze, because the box is so small, it wont fit. the brush that it comes with is quite hard on your face and it doesnt blend the bronzer very well. overall, i would definitely recommend the benefit hoola bronzer as the bronzer itself is great, really pigmented and blends with ease.
Love Mel x THE TOO FACE BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION IS A PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN CIRCLING AROUND SOCIAL MEDIA FOR A WHILE NOW SO WE HAVE DECIDED TO REVIEW IT HERE AT THE BEAUTY BLOG. WE PURCHASED THE FOUNDATION FROM THE DEBENEHAMS WEBSITE FOR £29 WHICH IS QUITE EXPENSIVE BUT TOO FACED IS A HIGH END MAKEUP BRAND SO IF YOU PREFER HIGH END BRANDS AND PRICE TAGS THEN IT MIGHT BE FOR YOU. SO ON THE DEBENHAMS WEBSITE IT SAYS THAT THE 'Born This Way FOUNDATION is an oil free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between make up and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can't see the make up and imperfections, all that's left is naturally radiant skin that looks like you were born this way. This revolutionary liquid foundation is infused with a potent combination of coconut water to naturally replenish moisture levels, nature's resilient alpine rose to brighten the skin's appearance and promote elasticity and hyaluronic acid for a smoother, more youthful appearance. For medium coverage, apply a small amount from the centre of the face outward and blend with fingertips, sponge or brush. Build to full coverage by layering as needed.' SO WHEN TESTING THE FOUNDATION ON PRIMED SKIN, IT WAS CLEAR TO SEE THAT THE COVERAGE WASNT GREAT TO START WITH BUT IT WAS BUILDABLE TO MEDIUM COVERAGE, DEFINITELY NOT FULL AT ALL!! WHEN YOU FIRST APPLY IT, ITS GOT QUITE A WATERY CONSISTENCY AND IT BECOMES TACKY ON THE FACE SO WE HAD TO SET IT IN PLACE WITH A SETTING POWDER, IN ORDER TO MAKE IT MATTE. AFTER A FEW HOURS WE NOTICED THAT THE SKIN WAS BECOMING REALLY OILY AND THE FOUNDATION WAS STARTING TO SLIDE OFF AND SO IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN THIS FOUNDATION DEFINITELY ISNT FOR YOU. THE FOUNDATION MAY WORK BETTER ON AND LAST LONGER ON DRY AND COMBINATION SKIN. OVERALL, CONSIDERING THR PRICE AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE FOUNDATION, WE DON'T THINK THE FOUNDATION SHOULD BE BEAUTY BLOG APPROVED To purchase the too faced born this way foundation for £29 in the uk, click the link below:

Lipstick queen is a brand that we have created a partnership with, so we thought we would test and review one of their lipsticks. The jean queen lipstick is said to have A rich pink hue that perfectly offsets the blue of denim. The innovative formula keeps lips soft and hydrated whilst giving a glossy shine that contrasts the matte of denim to give you an edgy, stylish look. When testing the lipstick out on the lips, it was clear that it is a matte lipstick with good pigmentation and its a beautiful nude colour which is something you can wear day to day but can also be paired with a bold eye look for a glam look. the lipstick seemed to last a while but because it doesn't dry down, its not kiss proof and so you couldn't eat with it on and you would have to continue to reapply throughout the day. overall, the lipstick is really creamy, not drying on the lipsticks, its got great pigmentation and the colour is gorgeous and so the jean queen lipstick is beauty blog approved
